Concerts, theatre, bowling – one space for dozens of experiences
The Club
Music takes over more than 50% of Joy Station’s calendar, and experiencing a concert with us turns into a real feast! Among the factors for this are the individually developed acoustic design of the hall and the uncompromising combination of a MEYER sound system, CLAY PACKY lighting, a YAMAHA console, three SAMSUNG video walls and an LED wall with the impressive dimensions of 7.2 m x 2.4 m.
With a concert capacity of 1,500 people, the club is popular as a focal point for a large array of global stars such as Bobby Kimball (TOTO), Uriah Heep, Primal Fear, Tarja Turunen, Mezzoforte, Sara Tavares, Al Di Meola, Joe Lyn Turner, Dominic Miller, Steve Gadd Band, Riverside, Paradise Lost, Leprous, Bond, Amy Winehouse Band, Glenn Hughes, Therion and many more.
By tradition, internationally acclaimed tributes to cult artists like Adele, Metallica, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, U2, Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers are presented here.
Some of the top artists of the Bulgarian music scene like Lili Ivanova, Vasil Naydenov, Vasko Vassilev, Lyubo Kirov, Dara, Miro regularly hold their special events here. In recent years, Joy Station’s programme has opened up to an even wider audience with a wealth of stand-up comedy shows, theatre performances and children’s programmes.
On many days throughout the year, Joy Station hosts the largest corporate parties, conferences, ceremonies, training sessions and exhibitions. For these types of events, by joining the level with the bowling alley, a capacity of 2,000 people is achieved, who have fun on level 1 and play various games on level 2.
Bowling MegaXtreme
The jolting experiences at Joy Station take place both on stage and on the slopes of MegaXtreme – the largest bowling alley on the Balkan Peninsula. The common passion for the game gathered a handful of friends in 2003 and launched the MegaXtreme brand in the first hall of the chain in Studentski grad, Sofia. Our partnership with the American innovator in bowling technology QubicaAMF raised the bar in sports in Bulgaria and put the hall on the map of international tournaments.
MegaXtreme at Joy Station has a capacity of 200 people and offers unlimited opportunities to celebrate with your loved ones, team, or business. The combination of cosy dining areas and off-lane entertainment (billiards, foosball, arcade games) is preferred for a wide range of events – from children’s birthdays to team building and corporate parties.

Corporate Event
The space in the club can be arranged in different ways according to the needs of your gala, training, team building, corporate party, or exhibition. From the high-tech base of one of the biggest club stages in Sofia, through the own catering, to the selection of artists and decoration of the hall – Joy Station is the right partner for your event.
